We now offer precision appliqué

Using a combination of our laser and embroidery processes, Century Graphics & Sign now offers high-end appliqué using a wide variety of attractive, durable materials.

We're currently working on a video for our online media library which shows the appliqué manufacturing process from beginning to end. In the meantime, check out these great examples of some of the appliqué projects we've done over the past few weeks:

If you have questions or comments, please feel free to call us at 1-800-228-4467, or email us at sales@centurygs.com. We'd be glad to help you with a custom design and product using our appliqué materials and techniques.

Why Century should be handling your oil & gas signage

At Century Graphics & Sign, we not only support the efforts of the oil and gas industry across North America and worldwide, but we very much consider ourselves to be a part of it.

Firstly, we are located in the epicenter of West Texas oil and gas production; the Permian Basin. It is truthfully said that every company in this part of America, whether energy-related or not, is in the oil business. We take that reality to heart. When the energy industry booms, all the companies surrounding and supporting it also boom. Likewise, when the energy companies struggle, so struggle the rest of us along with them.

Secondly, some of our products are so directly tied to oil and gas production (lease signs, HAZMAT signs, HMIS and NFPA decals, pipeline markers, aerial markers, and the list goes on and on), that we've spent much of the past two decades dedicating the development of our expertise to these services. As a result, we can confidently say that no one knows more about E&P signage than us.

Thirdly, many of our friends, neighbors, and family members are in the oil business. We live in the midst of the proud energy culture. We celebrate its victories, mourn its defeats, strive to educate others as to its value, and cringe at the lies and half-truths perpetuated about it in the media.

So which graphics and sign manufacturer should you choose to produce your oil or gas company's signage? Choose the one who is truly the energy industry's trusted friend and partner. We've been here, and we'll be here when you need us.

We manufacture in-house and service all of North America and overseas, including the Permian Basin, Marcellus Shale, Eagle Ford Shale, Utica Shale, Bakken Shale, and others.

Metallic inks, you say? We can do that

At Century Graphics & Sign, we offer many technological and creative processes that truly set us apart as an industry leader. One of these is our ability to digitally print metallic inks onto certain types of media. Our graphics department includes the Roland VS-540 digital printing system, which -- among other impressive operations -- prints metallic inks with ease.

The VS-540 uses an ingenious mechanical and chemical method to produce a range of metallic looks from true silver, to gold, and anodized looks. The metallic application process begins with a base metallic silver ink which, through different basing and mixing techniques, combines to produce a wide variety of incredible looks. The silver can be printed alone, or layered and combined with other process color formulas to produce everything from gold to the stannic reds, greens, and blues of anodization. This short video shows some of the creative and mechanical process, highlighting the end result:

The look is great for setting your company's or organization's visual images apart, and provides a striking appeal that cannot be ignored.

If you have questions or comments, please feel free to call us at 1-800-228-4467, or email us at sales@centurygs.com.

Suddenly, it becomes apparent to us just how much visual content we have on Facebook

Looking back through the photo and art gallery on our Facebook company page, it’s interesting to see just how much content has been archived there over the past few years. Not only is the volume of content noteworthy, however, but the wide variety of product as well:

We’ve been blest to handle a sizeable gamut of product design and manufacturing, especially in the past few years, as we have steadily upgraded our mechanical and creative processes to world-class status. The image above is but a small, thumbnailed sample. See the complete archive for yourself, and give us a ‘like’ while you’re at it:

We understand branding

One of the biggest concerns expressed to us from new and prospective clients (especially from those who've left our competition out of sheer frustration) is about whether or not we understand, and are capable of following, professional corporate branding guidelines. Our answer is always the same: "Rest easy. We've got you covered."

Entrusting your corporate branding compliance to just anyone can result a myriad of disasters, such as the botched execution of logo and marketing applications, poor production quality, and a loss of co-op dollars. Any or all of these mishaps can lead to missed deadlines, costly re-dos, and the subsequent obligatory poor representation of your company within the public eye. It's a ridiculous headache no one should have to deal with, but it's a daily reality for any company who picks the wrong sign, printing, promotional, and apparel producers to create their products.

At Century Graphics & Sign, we employ a professional marketing, art, and sales staff who comprise the proper training and experience to handle even the most complex and demanding brand applications. When you entrust your project to us, colors will be accurate, layouts will conform to design conventions, and professional branding consistencies will be achieved in every instance. Our proven record of success and decades of experience speak for themselves, so call us today and get your next project done right.
